Urban Farming Education announces the launch of the Likuni Project in Malawi

Urban Farming Education (UFE) announces the launch of the Likuni Project in Malawi. As with many Sub-Saharan Africa countries, inadequate nutrition is a problem in Malawi. UFE will be working with Likuni Boys Secondary School and Likuni Girls Secondary School to implement effective, sustainable crop growing systems. The systems will enhance nutrition and education in the region.

November 4, 2020- Phoenix, AZ - Known for building sustainable gardens and programs in struggling communities throughout Maricopa County, is upping their efforts to continue helping those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Refrigerated trucks were purchased to safely transport and re-distribute perishable donations to food insecure communities throughout Phoenix.
