Project Grow connects participating schools with appropriate tools, materials, educational resources, soil support, and community partners when available.

Trained university interns help with garden activities, student engagement, educational programming, coordination, outreach, and community participation.

Every Garden Has a Different Starting Point
Some schools are beginning with an empty space. Others have an existing garden that needs renewed participation, additional resources, or a plan for continued care.
Project Grow meets each school where it is. UFE works with educators, students, interns, and community partners to identify what the garden needs and create practical next steps together.

Fewer Barriers.
Through UFE’s partnership with Denali, eligible schools participating in Project Grow may receive donated compost or landscaping materials to help support their garden.
Materials are subject to current inventory, program eligibility, and availability. Transportation and pickup are the responsibility of the participating school. Additional instructions are provided after enrollment.
