Data shows there are 13,400 children in foster care in Arizona. What I call the “cycle of despair” begins with unwanted people, including children who have no known family and live within the foster care system. Foster care facilities come in different shapes and sizes and serve different purposes. With help from donors like you we can build gardens in these facilities and help with: sustenance, education (growing and cooking nutritious food), ecotherapy, and even start an Urban Farm Business model.
Thrive is a Foster Care Prevention and Reunification Ministry to families in our community. They provide transitional housing and mentoring to families experiencing homelessness, substance abuse, and neglect.
They provide families with resources and education that help promote healthy lifestyles as well as a healthy family!
