Data shows there are 13,400 children in foster care in Arizona. What I call the “cycle of despair” begins with unwanted people, including children who have no known family and live within the foster care system. Foster care facilities come in different shapes and sizes and serve different purposes. With help from donors like you we can build gardens in these facilities and help with: sustenance, education (growing and cooking nutritious food), ecotherapy, and even start an Urban Farm Business model.

Gardens

"Gardening provides a low-tech solution to many of the issues that schools face today, particularly in urban or low-income areas where problems of poverty, lack of access to healthy food, poor educational foundations and difficult learning environments converge."
